Mug cakes never seemed to turn out right for me. They were either too chewy, too dry, or not sweet enough. Well, I continued experimenting, and thought why not add some decadent Nutella into the mix. I modified the classic mug cake recipe, added Nutella, and a little more milk and oil than I had been using before. The results were beyond amazing.
We were reluctant to “resort” to something so easy – but we tried it anyway. If microwaving is the only method available to you, well, we aren’t going to argue with that. Of course, since a microwave oven means you do have a plug, you could plug in a small rice cooker instead. *wink*.
