Trade Ludacris for Mozart

You may be in love with the newest Ludacris or Wiz Khalifa jam but listening to this genre of music most likely won’t
increase your exam scores or make you retain information anymore readily.  The only type of music that can actually help improve your exam scores is classical music.  Studies show that the information being studied activates the left side of the brain while at the same time music activates the right side of the brain.  This effect ultimately maximizes learning and retention of information.

So ask your roomie, politely of course, to trade in Wiz Khalifa’s newest tracks for a little Mozart action.  Chances are they will look at you as if you are speaking voodoo, but promise them that it will help to increase their test scores as well.  If they still look at you oddly, then it’s time that you pack your things up and head to the library where you can concentrate solely on your studies and Mozart melodies.

If you haven’t grown up with a parent or grandparent who embraces classical music, most likely you will be lost in this genre.  We have compiled a list of some of the ultimate classical music in hopes that you take advantage of them and really get down to business with your studies.
