College Food – College Dorm Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get that well balanced meal.  The problem is college students don’t exactly have piles of fresh fruit lying around or the multitude of ingredients that smoothies a lot of times call for.  Lucky for you has provided a recipe for the Dorm Room Smoothie.  All of the ingredients can conveniently be snatched from the dining hall.  You can have it blended in a matter of minutes and be out the door so you can worry about the more important things that may come your way.

College Dorm Smoothie


  • 4 ice cubes
  • All-fruit Popsicle (used: Edy’s strawberry Fresh Fruit bar)
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 6 oz flavored yogurt (used: Yoplait light banana cream pie)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/3 packet of instant oatmeal (used: Quaker Low Sugar Strawberries and Cream)

Blend it all up and you’re set!
