The Ultimate Spring Break to Russia - Part II

Spring break is rapidly approaching and there are a number of exotic destinations throughout the world that offer a great get-away from classes. This is part of a two-part series on traveling to Russia.

Part II - When in Russia

Just because you planned an itinerary for your trip doesn't mean there's not time for a little spontenaity. While your classmates are lounging on the beach, why not try out some water fun for yourself? You can take relaxing Black Sea cruises and Volga cruises to see the sights as well as enjoy the chance to relax on board.

Russia offers some of the most historic and beautiful architecture in the world and the artisticly decorated domes of Moscow are internationally recognized. Take advantage of the time to take some guided russian tours and get an insider's look at the country.

When traveling to a new city, there are always a number of possible excussions but while in Russia, some particularly exciting cultural events to keep an eye out for are the Russian ballet, music gigs in the contemporary Russian music scene and the exotic nightlife. There are numerous nightclubs that offer an experience quite unlike anything you might find in the States.

It's also a good idea to keep an eye out for other international travelers. Both other college travelers and tour groups are opportunities to meet adventurers like yourself, meet new friends from across the world, and find others with which to enjoy Russia. They may have suggestions for places and things to see that you otherwise would have missed.

Between getting involved with the history, the culture, the nightlife and the other travelers to Russia, there will be plenty to occupy your time. While you may not have considered Russia in your spring break plans, there's no reason not to look into exploring this beautiful, exciting destination.
