Begin by going to an antique or thrift store and find an inexpensive old wooden picture frame. You can also find a number on online auction sites such as Ebay (check out this search for wooden frames on Ebay).

Once you've found a frame that you like, you can paint or spray paint over the old wood or decide to leave the frame as-is. Next, purchase some plain cork board. If you already have a bulletin board, you can usually remove the cork board from there. Cut the cork board to fit snuggly inside the picture frame and attach the cork board using either nails or super glue.
