Sleeptracker Watch to Wake Your Up

This article is underwriten by:

What's worse than the feeling of being jolted out of a deep sleep by the alarm? Even after hitting the snooze button and yanking the pillow over your head, there's no denying the fact that you are going to be groggy and exhausted for your first class. Seems like a simple matter of not getting enough sleep, right? It might not be quite as simple - and you may be getting more sleep than you think. Adults have sleep cycles - periods of deep sleep and of light sleep. If you are awoken from a deep sleep, you will feel more tired and disoriented upon awakening. If, however, you get up at the peak of your light sleep cycle, you will feel better rested and ready for your day.

The trick is to wake up during your lightest sleep cycle and that's where SleepTracker: The Wake Up Watch come is. This nifty gadget works like a regular digital watch but has a sensor on the back that monitors your sleep patterns. You can set the alarm to wake you up no later than a certain hour (say, 9am, half an hour before your first class) and the watch's alarm will sound during your light sleep cycle closest to 9am. If, of course, you get to sleep so late that you haven't yet hit your light sleep cycle, the alarm will just go off at 9am.

So far, the Sleeptracker Watch is getting some pretty great reviews and it may just be the sleep college student's dream come true.
